NASPA PRIZE for BESTIARIUM
BESTIARIUM collection is beeing awarded with a NASPA PRIZE 2016 for Ceramcis.
"The group of vessels, plates and moulds based on fish originates from both analogue and digital models. The results are juxtaposed in both technoid and biomor- phic forms. During the process of making the vessels, the artists augmented the forms of fish digitally and used 3D prints, which were joined with handcrafted ele- ments. The resulting installation brings together handcrafted objects and techni- cally produced parts to form a synthesis of traditional and almost futuristic aspects of contemporary ceramics. "
